i'm over the age of 21
the BX is where i'm from
where everything in my life embarks
living here and becoming the BX
years of being my mother's only son
no longer your child
i, stand and walk on my two feet
ready to face the world alone
with the acquisition of education that feeds knowledge to my brain
and the power of my fists that rises above hate
with the advantage at hand
being a man i will always outlast
open my eyes to new beginnings that doesn't have an end
