My Mission

I was once a young man at 18

Who decided to leave you see

To a place unknown

And a language lone

That's where I decided to be

I was called to L.A.

So I flew right away

And met my companion

Who's name was Brandon

And he would show me the way

As the days went by

I could not help but cry

My family was gone

And I was all alone

But someone was watching from on high

I studied my Spanish

And I felt a little clownish

There were people to save

I had to be brave

And I could already see the finish

As the months grew long

And my faith grew strong

I was no longer afraid

Because I had prayed

Nothing would go wrong

I went through opposition

But I had ammunition

It's been two years

I have no fears

And that was my mission
