Enter my mind for a moment,

And you’ll see that it’s always moving,

In constant motion,

A juggernaut of thoughts, ideas, and fears forever flowing like a stream.

It keeps be awake,

It helps me sleep,

It drives me crazy,

And keeps me sane.

To be able to see and hear everything all at once,

But nothing at all.

I reach out,

To try and touch the things I am thinking of,

To grasp at the words I am searching for,

To give them that spark that makes them come to life and dance off the pages.

I can see the finished product,

All the obstacles in the way,

And I climb and climb and climb,

Only to find that I'm still near the bottom.

But I cannot give up,

I cannot listen to those who tell me that I am silly,

That I cannot reach whatever it is I’m longing for.

But they are wrong.

They think I’m chained to the floor,

Words do nothing but trap your soul,

Action is what is needed.

To me,

Words are freedom,

The open sky above me,

And all I have to do is reach up, and find the right cloud to ride on.

My mind is a constant ocean of words,

A juggernaut of thoughts, ideas, and fears forever flowing like a stream,

My mind frees me.
