Your petals posses a rich vibrancy that glows within,

You remind me of my dad,

He has a beautiful complexion and rich tan skin,

But they take advantage and exhaust your modest maintenance,

You remind me of my dad,

No humanity is shown towards his humble heart and his patience,

Corporations mass produce you and suck your seed dry,

You remind me of my dad,

He is overworked and underpaid but he stays a strong guy,

You are controversial as people can’t make up their mind,

You remind me of my dad,

His society is caught in a spectacle about allowing American citizenship to be redefined,

Sometimes you symbolize anger and resentment,

You remind me of my dad,

His life consists of that because of the 14th amendment,

Other times you signify lull and relaxation,

You remind of my dad,

Those sentiments existed in him before having considered migration,

You have a stem that majestically proves strength,

You remind me of my dad,

To live he has undergone tremendous lengths,

I secretly appreciate your splendor from afar,

You remind of my dad,

I stare and admire him when he plays his guitar,

My lovely Petunia I know you feel degraded,

You remind me of my dad,

I cry when he is not looking I believe he is the greatest.
