I'm sitting here writing this poem to help me get a better college education

I want to do well so I can become a great man for this nation

This poem right in front of me will help pave the way

It will be so helpful to win and help pay

I'm just a young boy trying to find the right path

I've tried rugby and golf and I work hard at my math

I've searched for colleges all over the map

I think I've found the right one at home; it should be a wrap!

I'm working hard to find a passion that will lead me to the right place

There's so many options and it's hard to keep up with the pace!

This is my big shot to prove what I've got

I have aspirations to become a physician

With a degree like that I'll be in a good position

I want to help those that cannot afford to get help

There are people out there who do nothing but yelp!

As a good Christian man I can't help but see

The unfortunate people who live all around me

I want to have money to give back to the community

To help all those less fortunate than me

I want to help those whose voices are unheard

My life's calling is definitely assured

I'm writing this poem for one reason, ya know?
