My Life Everyday

I've been digging around my heart for answers, like an addict for a vein; collapsing inward and with every attempt, the bruises become more visable and I can no longer hide behind my own skin. It's as if there are three torches inside of me keeping my life line lit. One for the lessons learned of yesterday, one for the strength to take on the tasks of today and one for the hope that tomorrow will not be just another day. I look around and all I see is pain from work and home. It's bad when you pray to be left alone But then pray tomorrow will be a different song!
