My Life

Morning

Sitting up in bed

The thought of work climbs inside my head

A smile creeps upon my face

I know I’m in the right place

Afternoon

Now I’m at the hospital

I’m helping Jonathan on the bicycle

He is recovering from knee surgery

And he is on his way to be home free

Evening

I’m on my way to Ms. Mathis

She really isn’t the fastest

I mean she is only at the age of 99

And I think that an arm raise will do her just fine

Night

I come home tuckered out

My feet seem to shout

But that’s okay

They can’t make me go away

Bed timeKids want me to read them a rhymeMy husband smiles and we tuck them in And I know that my life did truely begin
