I laugh…..

Looking at me right now

You’d think that I’ve lost my mind

The tears are staining my face

Restless nights

They lead to bags under my eyes

The blade to my wrist

Fighting to resist

The demon in me screams

He destroys my hopes and dreams

Never thought I’d be here again

I stare off and think

No one would ever know

Thoughts in my head are fears

Fears of things that haunt me

Temptation to end it all

Only to rid myself of them
