Sometimes I sit quietly in this space

And wonder, "How am I still here?

How did these fragmented pieces of a man

Broken by folly, sin, and stupidity

Stay together this long?"

At moments like this,

I then remember:

My God

And how he keeps me together.

How he fills these cracks in me

That others can’t see

In this sea

Of everday life

that is filled with strife

and gives light

so that I may have sight

and see the Beauty

in this otherwise stormy sea

that is called Life!

So to answer the question at hand

I wouldn’t be able to live without

The relationship between me

And My God.

Because otherwise I would be like a bubble without air:

Nonexistent.
