Life is like a rollercoaster

It has its ups and downs

The highs and the lows

Yet I’m sure a certain career

Will have me smiling from ear to ear

I’m still unsure

I’m still inexperienced

But I’m sure that one day

I will find a job that will make me serious.

Writing is my passion

It’s what keeps me alive

Maybe one day I will be a writer

A person’s favorite author

They will wait anxiously

For my name to be printed on a page

What fun that will be!

Right now I will type on my machine

Hoping one day my work will be printed on a page.

Who knows what life will I lead?

When I’m older than eighteen

Right now I just want to keep dreaming

Of the person I one day will be.
