My Dearest Love

I have denied that a tear ever touched my skin

While you apologize for your actions, once again

like fire and gasoline dancing

our flame has grown brighter, more destructive

I've stayed, your hand in mine, I can't blame myself

You, my love are my moon and my stars

In a dead black sky, cold winds blowing

I used to be your sunshine

You've cursed me for being too bright

I've tried to convince myself

You do it all because you love me

Your clenched fists exude anger, not love

The words rolling of your tongue tear my heart to shreds

My moon has left the night sky

The flames have consumed me

My love, I am sorry

these tears can not be denied any longer

Goodbye
