I have a pair of shoes; they are my favorite pair.
They are comfy on my feet, and go with me everywhere!

They get lots of complements; people say your shoes how cool!

They go with my dancing; they go with me to the store.
I love them so much I can’t help but wear them more!

They go with me to the barn; they go with me to eat.
Rain, shine, mud, snow, they are always on my feet!

They show that I’m from the South where we say yes ma’am.
My cowgirl boots are my favorite shoes because they define who I am!

They show that I am cute and at the same time tough.
They show that I am soft but can get a little rough!

They belonged to my mom before they were mine.
That means they are pretty old and have lots of character lines!

I like that they are a part of my family because it gives them meaning
and ambition.
I hope to give them to my daughter one day and carry on the tradition!
