To My Boyfriend
To my boyfriend-
I don’t want your hands on me,
I don’t want you to touch my curves
I don’t want you to say how thick I am,
I don’t want you to say how I should lose weight
You have no right to touch me,
to make me feel
P O W E R L E S S
in my own relationship
You have no right to say that I am fat,
to make me feel
H A T R E D
for myself
Society lets you do these things,
but I won’t
