My Body and Me

Location

My body and me are not as friendly as we used to be

We do not see eye to eye

We see things quite differently

My body needs what i do not want

It begs for more

But I dare not give in to its pity war

I stand alone in this fight

I make my own decisions,

Even if they are not right

I say to my body, “I won, War's over.”

And it says to me, “This fight has only just begun.”
