My Acrostic Poem of Love

Berenice was her name, the girl who fell in love with a boy named Theodore

Easy they went, taking things one day at a time

Calls lasted hours, both vowing to love one another

Accepted her flaws and loved them for what they were

Understanding of her parents wishes, he prepared to ask them permission

Soulmates they truly were

Eternal admiration and care they both shared

Independent yet dependent individuals

Labels not needed, both didn’t need to share a title to know how they felt for each other

Open-minded they were

Vowing to wait until marriage

Encouraging one another to follow their dreams

Youthfulness they enjoyed

Open-hearted they both grew up

Unique and different both were but shared the same healthy love for one another
