The Music of Life

Location

Life, with its joyous song, is ever bright.

The symphony is rich and full and strong.

It plays in the summer’s resplendent light,

While birds are chirping their resounding song.

The wind is whistling its pleasant tune.

The waves are lapping on the ocean shore,

And sea gulls chattering all afternoon,

A sound like none has ever heard before.

Even the grass is swaying to and fro,

To the cheerful melody of the earth.

For it can ease your heavyhearted woe

And grant you happiness, for what it’s worth;

But all at once the song concludes again.

Only the stars will whisper secrets then.
