Music of The Heart

that silent song thats in your heart,
the one that makes you weep.
that tears at all thats good in you,
makes everything seem bleak.
it has no words to call its own,
at least none i can hear.
and where there should be goodness and light,
it brings blackness, that and fear.
a world exists, where all is good,
where love will always win.
but in that place where your heart goes,
to be loved is a sin.
sucked down into oblivion and buried in the mire,
and everything that you hold dear,
burns on the funeral pyre.
and in the spirit of the night,
while those around you sleep,
we'll dance to the music in your heart,
we'll dance to the music and weep.
tho' all is black, its all you see,
and death holds out its shroud,
there is a path, there is a way,
to lift this endless cloud.
reach out to us and take my hand,
we'll walk this road together,
to keep you warm and hide your face,
from the harshness of lifes weather.
we see the way, we see the light,
we know which way to go,
and yes, youre tired, you need to rest,
the journey will be slow.
but each time that you take a step,
the day is getting nearer,
when light shines through that clouded heart,
and everything gets clearer.
so come with us, we'll carry you,
till all the fears are slain,
and all the joys that we will share,
to see you blossom once again.
and in the spirit of the night,
while those around you sleep,
we'll dance to the music in your heart,
we'll dance to the music and weep.
