Even though I never felt anything like it before

I can only imagine their pain

And listening to it, as it beats into my heart, is agonizing

What I love about music is how

It creates an alternate universe

A portal that sucks you in

Never wanting to leave

A fantasy land

Going to adventures

Enduring different kinds of experiences

Through the ups and downs

I always turn to music

It’s my escape
