Motion

Upon dunes of sand

Where the ships do land

The farmers plow fields

To harvest its yields

The ocean churns

And the old castle yearns

To be a mountain on the peak

And to hear the city speak.

From  the old ship sailing

And a father still wailing

The light does go on to shine

As the world deems it fine

One boy cannot see

With his face in the sea.

The earth still sits

The water still hits

Upon the lapels of the shore

As life needs no more,

Yet the feathered wings still flap

For lifes jaws are its trap

The light now a curse

For life is always terse.
