Mother

Two are falling on the ground

One lands right side up

The other can't be found

The tide brings in

A large open mouthed scream

Part of me thinks I must be asleep

Beauty tainted with matters

Of sainthood, borders and ladders

Would it even register

If your mother was calling you home to her
