Morning Light

I wake

Sun hitting my eyes

I know if I open them I will have to face the light

The light of life

Where I put on a smile and tell others

"I'm okay"

"Nice weather we're having?"

"That's a lovely dress, is it new?"

I smile, laugh. and fool them

I want to not see the light

That hits my eyes in the early morning

I truely live in the darkness

Behind my eyes

And in my head

This little place there where I don't have to

Make small talk

Be sociable

Live

For now though I know I have to open my eyes

And exist a lie
