Morning

Thu, 10/09/2014 - 21:14 -- Severia

I didn’t want the morning to come,

The sun to invade my windows and brighten my room,

I didn’t want to wake.

I want to sleep eternally,

Away from all the pain.

The thought of waking to a morning without you is a pain I'll never be able to shake.

But I do indeed wake.

The sunshine pierces the blinds,

And I'm lying here very much awake,

All alone and drenched in pain,

Wondering how in the world could morning still possibly come,

When all I feel inside is rain…
