Money Makes a Difference

Look around you.

What do you see?

People passing by, rushing from one place to another

Letting the worlds gift and beauty slip from their eyes

They are immune to their surroundings,

They have seen it a million times, but they have never experienced it.

They have dreamed to see its true beauty

but dreams can’t be achieved when you are chained to a promise

A promise to stay and pay for what your past dreams have cost you.

Are you sure you wish to dream?

If dreams chain you to one spot?

Perhaps you see me in a few years

Going through the motions of life, never truly living

Because I will be chained to one spot

Paying for what my dreams have cost me

Paying off a loan with the years of my life.

But for now I will not fret, because I still have time.

Perhaps I have enough time to save a little extra money,

Maybe that money can break the chains

And make a big difference in my life.
