Modern Politics

There is something to be said

About the color

Orange.

He is our president now, and

As realization sets in, we begin to

Dread.

But dread will get us nowhere, and

Politics are but a 4-year game of

Cat and mouse—

Republican and Democrat.

A new president has been elected! But

Not only for America.

I emerge as the president of

Debate Club, a place in which

The boy sleeps in the back, and

The teams wage educated war

Against each other—world powers

Pitted against each other in eternal

Conflict, a preview

Of what is to come.
