Modern Myths- Poseidon Lord of the Sea

Thu, 10/17/2019 - 16:43 -- JShea20

I stand on the golden sand, watching a young man glide across the waves. The way he moves on the surfboard; like a dancer on a stage of blue. His dirty brown dreadlocks flowing in the wind. On a day like this, most people would struggle to try to find waves not him, the waves try to find him. Waves bigger than anything you've seen strong enough to destroy a ship in a single blow. The waves follow him like he is controlling them, but that's the thing, he is doing just that. The large waves capable of destroying the largest mountain, yet he is calm. He knows it won't hurt him. The man comes inshore with his surfboard, "What's hangin' dude," said Poseiden lord of the sea.
