a mistake

Only as I saw their faces

Seeing that they cared

Seeing that they were there

Is when I knew

I made a mistake

And I wish that

I wouldn’t have done it

I could have saved myself

But the blood poured from my wrists

Only when I saw them all crying

I knew I made a mistake

But she greeted me

With open arms

And I finally saw that light

That everyone talks about

It was time to go
