Misery

We absent mindedly wonder
Through our sad lives
All being dragged under
Hoping we're the one swho survives

This life isn't the one we wanted
But it's what we were given
We are all haunted
By the mistakes left unforgiven

Regret weighs 1000 pounds
Misery settles in
And, in sadness, everyone drowns
Lakes full of pain lie within

We must release it all
For our sake
Cut the chain and ball
That is the source of our heartache
