Misconceptions, deceivement and hell

Things you don't expect to hear you listen to but don't gasp or scream
As though you expected it to happen

Things you don't expect to see you watch but don't gasp or look in pity
As though you expected it to happen

Things you don't expect to smell you whiff but you don't cover or nose or hold your breathe
As though you expected it to happen

Things happen
Things always do
But what are those things, you ask
Anything
Everything
Anyone
Everyone
Ambiguity at its finest

Lost in a sense of where is she going with her stanzas with indirect statements

Even I don't know
I just write
Until my fingers shake
Hurt
Stutter
Or when my heart begins to flutter
Rapidly

Things you don't expect to hear, see or smell  happen
But you don't stop to be disgusted
Or to wonder in fear or worry
You just stand there
As though you already knew what was going to happen.
