Mirrors

Behind my bedroom door,

I hear screaming and fighting;

Someone always ends up crying.

They try and hide it,

But from were I sit,

It gets louder, and louder;

Overwhelming my ears.

Cracking all the Mirrors.

Scars cover our reflections,

When they notice their actions.

Helping each other, cover the cracks,

Ignoring for awhile what each other lacks.

Loving each other, it's plain to see,

But they can't stop arguing.

Behind my bedroom door,

I hear screaming and fighting,

Someone always ends up crying.

If only they would unlock my silence,

They would see,

The one crying is me.
