Mirror Mirror

Mirror mirror, I see you

you who speaks ‘true’

you show me dips

you see my chips

Mirror Mirror; ignorance is no sin.

you do not peek behind my skin

I close my eyes, and I can see

The boiling courage inside of me

I please my audience with lines and wit

with great finesse and sassy grit

I have ventured to the stage

Shown them a soul, beyond my age

Fear has never been a factor

as long as you are a perfect actor.

Mirror mirror you show me scars

what you don't show me is the stars

Those who laugh at my facade

Will never know the thrill of applause

My fearlessness has made me strong

set my heart beating to a ferocious song

I do not see in my reflection

the description of my dramatic profession

Mirror mirror, you’re too modest

Show me a that girl who is fearless; flawless.
