Mirror

Of everything in the universe the contradiction we see,

is our own reflection of negativity.

Bound to the cell of disgrace in chains,

we're escalating fast to that vision of vain.

Judgement day has come against our outer souls,

the decision of change or a deeper hole.

Time running has approached to lift the veil,

a cloth woven with desires that evil hails.

As a frayed feather separated by its strands,

the choice was made to connect back to the center band.

Judgement day has come against our outer souls,

the decision of change or a deeper hole.

Piercing together what blindness took away,

the thick darkness turns to mid-day.

Days of gold rather than tar.

Days of healing rather than scars.

Judgement day had come against my outer soul,

my decision of change not a deeper hole.

The glass of my mirror pouring in synch,

Rather than bleeding out over its framed brink.

It showed me the fluorescent color of love,

Discovered hidden elation I had no reach of.
