Mine Truly,

Lay me at the smoking Altar of Your Vision

Grow my hair and hide my knees

Devote my spirit to You

Chain my soul with Heavenly Vows

Tell me to wear handcuffs on one finger in gold

Water me down, wash me away

Paint over the colours I grew with

A blank slate of your doing

But you cannot take my identity

I stand by my siblings as a creature of Other

A daughter of Queer

A woman of power and unwavering Identity

A symbol that I stand by with every dawn breaking

That even in isolation, Myself I will have.
