Mind of A Veteran

Location

Stop judging.

Move Slowly.

The mind will race.

You can see it in the face.

Searching for the enemy.

Never with a back to the door.

Stop judging.

Wanting to express more than anger.

Fighting with one's own mind.

Escaping the day of tragedy and war.

Bodies dropping.

Numb to the feelings.

Stop judging.

Home from war.

Feeling like an alien.

Nothing is right.

People have grown.

Where can you fit in?

Stop judging.

Fought for your freedom.

Please show some respect.

I'm not a freak.

I struggle with my own mind.

Move Slowly.

Stop Judging.
