Romans 12:2  New English Translation

2 Do not be conformed to this present world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may test and approve what is the will of God—what is good and well-pleasing and perfect.

 

The mind

 

Is the mind the enemy’s stronghold? Yes, it surely must be so

Unless we have the mind of Christ; the flesh has a stronghold on it

We know how Satan works and what he has in mind, and in ours too

So unless redeemed through the Blood of Christ, it’s blindness we inherit

 

Evil spirits have established a relationship with the mind of man

They impose their will through the mind of the folks, who’re just existing

To really make it clear indeed as humanity seems just their captive

To spread their poisoned thoughts to others, who all are weak and listen

 

Sin was first manifested in the search for knowledge when tempted

The first issue at hand was to know the difference between good and evil

In that the overrated mind of man seems intensely related to Satan

And whatever is produced from there influences all disobedience

 

It seems that all communication between human and satanic forces

Occur in the organ of thought where a resting place is sought

There Satan uses the flesh so often to get consent or an endorsement

In each instant presented to the mind, that's where the battle is fought

 

In the mind man is at enmity with God, and that is plain to see

The original definition of repentance was a change of mind indeed

“God granted repentance to life” to all that believed (Acts 11:18)

“The Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the direct Word of God preached”
