A Million Secrets

Location

It's like I'm drowning in a sea of their words and stories.
They pour their hearts out to me , but I can't hold that much.
So many people to meet, to know, to hear about their life pain and fear.
But ever once did they ask about me, about my life, about my story.
No.
I am just a way for them to feel better, no one really cares for me.
I am just the person they trust with all their secrets.
What if I went bad? Did you ever think about that?
That I could throw up all your words and finally be empty in that dark room, the spot light finally on me.
Breath, he says, just go to sleep, the pain will ease if you only see. Without your eyes but with your heart. Breath my angel, this is only the start.
