Midnight Clearness



letting go seems necessary,

like I have no other choice

but to let my fears and problems-

swallow me whole.



I'd look in the mirror

and study myself hard,

asking painful questions

I'd later regret.



midnight would call me

to simply stay awake,

and make me remember

that it's never too late.
