The thunder rumbles,

The rain pours,

The snow covers the ground,

As I predict what is to happen next.

I watch the radar maps,

Pixelated colors on a screen,

Where is the storm headed next,

I am saving lives.

If people know where the storm is going,

they know when to hide,

they know to prepare for disastor,

I am predicting the weather.

The weather is cruel,

The weather seems unpredictable,

But the weather is interesting,

And I will predict its path.

Weather is my life,

I am a meteorologist in training.
