Mental Health/ Anxiety

They tell me not to worry,

They said. Oh! You’ll be fine.

They tell me it's just hormones,

But they don't feel me cross the line.

They don't hear my crazy thinking,

They don't see my sleepless nights.

They don't hear the nonstop running,

That goes on in my mind.

They don't see me crash down low,

They don't hear me hate myself.

They don't see me crying wishing I were somewhere else,

I don't know why I am like this.

All I know is; I need help.

They don't know what it's like to be afraid of your malady.

Because they are not in your head.
