Memories

Who is she?

The one who takes care of me?

Is she the one I loved,

But yet I don’t remember her,

From yesterday or any of the days before.

What is she doing here?

She is the one that is always here for me,

But I don’t know her name.

She cares for me, feeds me, and keeps me safe.

Yet I don’t show anything in return.

When did she show up?

She has a ring on her finger, so do I.

Her warmth is like the rays of the sun.

I don’t know if we are together,

All I know is that she is here with me, now.

Where is she?

She is no longer here,

Has she passed or simply left me.

She is one of the many,

I have lost to a memory.
