Medusa's March

Fri, 07/12/2019 - 01:07 -- broc6

A body belongs to its owner.

And to no one else.

Uterus to cornea.

Let there be no theft.

No discussion or judgement.

Of what goes in and what comes out.

Why was Medusa hated?

Called a monster.

Her hair, a weapon.

Because those who viewed her did not understand.

That female bodies were never meant to be consumed.

And why a man would rather behead her.

Than keep his eyes to himself.

If every body moderated by law could turn you to stone,

Would you feel threatened or would you leave it alone?
