You found me

On the kitchen floor

Slashing my drained wrists

Just trying to get it out

Trying to get it out

Get it out

Get it out

But then you showed me

How to use your mouth

As a tube

Gliding down my lungs and into my stomach

Pumping out all of the hateful vomit

How to use

Your touch

To choke out all of the regret from my mistakes

I learned to use your sturdy arms

To stop the body aches

Your arms

Wrapped around my waist

Slowly compressing all of the pain

This morning I got a paper cut

Honey, I think

I see blood
