Once Upon a time there was a girl A girl who never felt good enough

And then she met a boy A boy who changed her world.

A boy who showed what it meant to be loved.

A boy who made her happy.

A boy she loved with all her heart.

Then he left..

She was broken.

She blamed herself.

Then he came back And her world was right again.

But not for long…..

He left again.

This became a pattern on again… off again..

but she didn’t care because he always came back

She didn’t realize the relationship was unhealthy

Why didn’t any of her friends warn her?

Oh.. because she had none

And even if she did she was in too deep.

Part 2

Eventually she had enough.

Enough of the on and off.

Enough of everything..

She ended it.

and regretted it. Months go bye She finds a new guy.

It doesn’t last long.

She and Him are still not talking.. And then suddenly they are again..

They become “best friends”

They began to hang out again

She’s happy.

Even though they aren’t together It felt like they were.

They stopped She found another boy She dumped him after a week.

Part 3 5 months later…

It’s summer Everything Just seems better..

She and him are back to being “best friends”

Always in his cousins basement. Chilling.. Kissing.. The usual..

And then a bomb drops..

He’s leaving Going to fight for his country..

Her heart breaks a little inside.

So she vows to enjoy the summer with him.

And thats exactly what she did..

She didn’t think about him leaving until he left..

She cried that day.

Part 3:

School starts…

She finds a new crush

She starts to forget about him

In a couple of months she would’ve been “single” for a year.

December.. 2 months later

He’s back for a visit

They talk they kiss same as always

And then she realizes its time for them to part.

She doesn’t kiss him goodbye..

He leaves He moves on She doesn’t 

Because deep down she”s still holding on to him..

She rips out all the poems and random things she wrote about him… She burns them.

One little piece remains..

Me Happy Everything And She realizes she will be okay… Things happen for a reason.. and so she’s letting him go And becoming Happy.
