ME AND MY BROKEN SELF

hanging in the dark,

with a shattered and broken heart,

underwater avoiding a huge shark,

I knew I had depression right from the start.

Looking back  at old times,

run and run and cry,

every moment felt like  crimes,

feeling like i'm going to die I don't why.

holding on to half of me,

try to make the best out of everything,

just let my broken self be free,

dangling upside down looking at the world,

it's dark and bitter and i'm blinded by the light that follows you.

music and dance,

when holidays come no cheer is near,

people seem to stare and glance,

and inside a cannonball explodes full of fear,

while everyone's stuck in a trance it's my turn to run it's my chance,

me and my broken self

broken self

Me and my broken self
