Mask

That smart young girl

who seems to have everything figured out

with a bright future ahead

yet if you looked deep enough

you will find

that everything is broken

Those kind eyes holds pain

the anger, frustration, pain, and wisdom

of a much older soul

The dainty fingers you had find

you wouldn't expect

she knows how to break a man twice her size

Her smile that everyone adores

hides her emotions the most

It conceals her pain

her frustrations

her sorrows

her broken heart

The girl you view as perfect

has flaws a million miles deep

has a story that you won't be able to see

she hides it continously

every scar bried within her

and that once bright, cheery girl

becomes dimmer and dimmer

until all you see

is a

mask
