The Mask

In my face,

I see a mask.

A mask that sheilds.

A mask that protects.

Protection that show no one

what lies beneath.

In my eyes,

I see tears.

Those that show sorrow,

And those that show grief.

Those are the tears

That reflect back a person,

A person only I see.

In myself,

I see flaws.

The flaws no one else sees.

The flaws I feel inside.

These are the flaws,

That are felt each day

By me.
