Martyr

Kill me if you must,

But there shall be no last words.

No begging,

No pleading,

For I shall not bow to the whims of an unjust King.

Silence me,

Cut off my voice,

But I shall be a Martyr.

All will remember the Martyr Queen,

For I shall not bow to the whims of a murderous King.

Kill me,

End me.

Make me another jewel on your crown.

For i shall not bow to the whims of a traitorous King.

Kill me if you must,

I have nothing left to say.

Just tell the children I've gone on a long trip away,

For I shall never bow to you,

My King,

My Killer,

My Husband.
