Marlboro Red Special Blend 100's

Location

You’re my Marlboro Red in the dead of night

A single amber glow amid the choking blackness

But oh how you will never understand

the way your embers light up my soul

Scorching me black from inside out

setting me ablaze with your crimson flame

Lining my insides with the dark of your poison affections

Oh how it shines in the cover of night, but sure as the dawn will rise it burns down fast

darkness lifts and our fingers unwind,

bodies peel,

lips draw back,

releasing    you     from   I          and       I       from     you

and the pale stroke of dawn washes away the dark of night

Carrying away our stolen affections, concealing it beneath the shadow of our moon

Oh my Marlboro Red romance how tragically you died at the hand of our own carnivorous breath

As our lungs squeezed inward our time burned fast

and our veiled promise of love fell to ashes,

           drifting,

 and spinning,

 lost along the wind

ambers die under the weight of our intensities

smashed and  ground into the pavement,

stamped out beneath the foot of the morning sun

But tell me this my nicotine lover,

When darkness falls will the matches set us ablaze once more?
