A Man...

I'd Imagine doesn’t coward in fear of fighting for what he knows is right,
he stands erect and defends what he knows to be right.

I'd Imagine doesn’t excuse or try and justify wrongdoing.
Nor abandons his morals.

I'd Imagine doesn’t manipulate and diminish women.

I'd Imagine humbles himself and provides for his family.
He'd put himself in front of his family if his family were threatened with danger.

I'd imagine he would realize how valuable a woman and his kids are. He would risk putting himself at the mercy of a dangerous situation because the kids he’s protecting are the future of our society. He would accept the fact he might not emerge unscathed because he is protecting a woman, the sole way to keeping our species alive.

I'd imagine You Can Make Dreams A Reality. But,
Mama Told Me, "You Can't Change Nobody Besides Yourself."

I Imagine Myself A Man.

To be referred to, as a Man is a privilege, and to carry that title is an honor. However, it is a shame that doing what you are supposed to do is a noteworthy accomplishment. I don’t think that a Man should be revered; I think that that more should be demanded of Males that aren’t Men. Hold Males claiming to be Men accountable for all that a Man is supposed to be, because the title “A Man” is one deserving of respect.

Wow..I am astounded... absolutely speechless! You completely reiterate the fact that genuine poetry is the rhythmical creation of beauty in words, which can communicate even before it is completely understood. It flowed nicely, almost like a well developed story. Your message was delivered in such a way that allowed me, as the reader, to feel hidden emotions and feel the emotions and development of your narrator. Mere perfection. "Always be a poet, even in prose." ;) (oh and <3 your pic)
