A Lullaby to Heal Broken Souls

Wed, 11/23/2016 - 22:18 -- gesh

I’ve heard, my dear, that you aren’t okay.

I’ve heard you crying, I’ve heard you say:

“I give up, I tell you. I surrender my soul.”

But I promise you that one day, you will be whole.

Your wounds will heal, and scars will form.

These are what will prove you made it through the storm.

All I hope is that you’ll keep walking when the road gets rough,

And I pray along the way you will see that you are enough.

I know this world is dark, and your future looks gray,

But by tomorrow, it will all be okay.
