Lukewarm

2 Corinthians 11:14 New English Translation (NET Bible)

14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

Where are you now? You who killed my yesterdays

You always are in hiding … can't give me time a day

Who made you anyhow? You who never pays

And always are free-riding the call of life away

You survive in denseness and the dull that rules the mind

You confuse all the issues and make truth hard to find

You drive me senseless and in ways make me blind

You form all the flesh’s tissues and twist them in all kinds

You never stop scheming and seem to pull all the strings

You won’t ever give up on what you think you can bring

You make truth demeaning … just a worthless fleeting fling

Yes you corrupt my simplest likes into an everlasting sting
